1) I was born in Bangkok and lived there until I was 23

2) I read 3 or 4 books a week

3) I am a recommended 5th degree black belt

4) I was once dropped on my head by my brother, which might explain a few things.

5) I really wanted to go to art school, but I ended up going to college to study mass communications/public relations instead.

6) I met my husband in Louisiana, of all places.

7) I celebrate my birthday on two successive days (long story, but true). And yes, I expect and receive presents on both days.

8) I also celebrate my wedding anniversary on two different days about 3 weeks apart. That's because we married once in Thailand, and then again 3 weeks later in U.S.A.
And yes, I expect and receive gifts on both of those days too

9) I couldn't cook anything at all when we got married. Now I cook so many things quite well...mostly American southern cooking, Italian, some Thai.

10) I can play guitar a little, and Mark loves to hear me sing some Thai songs while playing.

11) Once, I went to a college football game (first and only time.) It was Southern Miss. vs. Miss. State. I didn't cheer for the first half, because I didn't know teams and didn't care who won. But at halftime, I really liked Southern Miss. band, so I cheered so loud for Southern Miss. team in 2nd half. I didn't know that people for different teams sit on opposite sides of the field, and we were on Miss. State side. That's why Mark kept trying to quiet me..too late. My team won

12) I really love to read everyone's comments on my drawings, and I truly enjoy seeing all of my friends' work here too!

13) I can beat Mark at tennis, even though he used to play a lot when he was younger.

14) I translated a few of Anne Rice's novels into Thai just because I liked them so much.

15) I like listening to Jackson Browne music almost as much as Mark does.

16) I am the proudest mother in the world.

17) I love to bowl with my family, even though it's sure not my best sport.

18) I find golf to be the most frustrating sport I ever tried..especially when Mark is trying to "help" me.

19) I collect Disney figurines..the little ceramic ones..and I also have lots and lots of Disney videos.

20) I love listening to my son playing his piano, and even better..singing with him.

21) I really enjoy scary/suspense type movies, but I usually have to watch them alone, because the guys in this house are such scaredy cats.
