I stumbled across these guys while exploring a temple in Bangkok. It takes a few seconds to view it full-size, but it's worth it to see the smile on the face of that little boy at the other end of the table. These kids were full of joy, and the place itself is such an oasis of serenity and security in the midst of the chaotic city. I loved it there, and this is my attempt at sharing a little slice of my day at that temple.
It's a very interesting picture, the contrast between the statues of the temple
and the children playing "ping-pong". Well done!!
I see that you like oriental countries and their toughts...
I appreciate very much oriental philosofy!! very interesting
See you around
I really don't know what to say other than that I can see you have a real keen eye for your photos. Good lighting, interesting contrast between the solemn statues and carefree children. I should submit a photo I took recently that I think came out rather well...
What a great photo op... and you captured it fabulously well. It has such a happy feeling. The colours somehow reflect the location, (if that makes any sense. ^_^) I agree with the above post, the contrast between the solemnity of the statues and the playfulness of the children is very interesting.
Fab! Hope you don't mind if I +fav this.

My father always said "Cheer up, things could be worse." Sure enough, I cheered up and things got worse.
thanks soooo much for sharing this with all of us...what a great title, description & capture of true innocence amongst chaos - that smile on the boy truly says it all

This is such wonderful capture of life and serenity, both. I love his expression, and the capture of color and flow. The boy standing to my right of the joyous one, has that all knowing look...just beautiful. I love temples..have been to Japan, and love the temples there, and to be in a room with Buddha, well, the spirit lingers long after...
