Here's another view of my Captiva Island heron friend, Herman...yep, Herman the Heron.
He was looking for minnows along the shore and I hung around for a long while, gradually letting him get accustomed to me being there, as I slowly edged closer. While he was probably somewhat annoyed to see someone poking a camera in his face, he wasn't annoyed enough to fly away and leave his favorite fishing spot...much to my delight.

Look at that long neck! He is a very beautiful bird. I think he looks great, the water looks good too, and the frame suits it nicely........

Love it........the colors and the feather detail is great......the ocean behind Herman. You are the master at getting great bird photos and have so much patience as well. +fav even though there aren't any dolphins ;) (Wink)
